4. Under the Options tab, you can select the VDS option Retain source for forensics.
Select this option to retain the source volume after instant recovery. Otherwise,
the recovery session overwrites the source volume during the switch process. If
you do not select this option and the instant recovery session fails, the original
data in the source volume can be lost.
This option is not available if backup with the XP VSS hardware provider in
resync mode was performed. In this case, you can only select the Wait for the
replica to complete option. Select this option if you want SSE Agent to wait for
the synchronization or copy process to complete (non-quick restore). Only then,
the source volume will be available. If this option is not selected, the source
volume is immediately available while the synchronization or copy process is
running in the background (quick restore).

5. Click Restore.
6. If you restored Microsoft Exchange Server data, manually re-mount the database
stores. In case of restore to Recovery Storage Group, re-mount the database
stores in this RSG.
