In this case, Oracle RAC Database is created on the RAW VxVM volumes, for which the cluster
feature of the VxVM is enabled and required licenses are installed on the Cluster nodes and on the
Backup host.
Use ‘scsetup’ utility of the Sun Cluster to setup the VxVM on the cluster nodes.
Please refer “Sun Cluster Software Installation Guide for Solaris OS” for detailed steps.
When cluster is up and running add a share disk to VxVM and create the required volumes to
setup the Oracle RAC and Oracle database on RAW VxVM volumes.
