Data Protector 5.5 Device Support Matrix

 Data Protector 5.5 supports STK VolSafe WORM media on all supported platforms with the STK9840 tape drive. HP LTO WORM media is
supported with HP LTO Ultrium 920, 960, 1760 and 1840 tape drives on HP-UX, Windows (with patch DPWIN_00289), Linux, Solaris, Tru64 and
OpenVMS. Please note that a Tape Alert [9] error will be encountered on HP-UX 11.31 however, this error can be ignored and will be addressed
in the next HP-UX 11.31 stape patch (due to be released September 2007).
 It is recommended that no more than 512 drives and 1500 slots be configured for each logical library in Data Protector 5.5.
