Backup and restore of GroupWise

HP OpenView Storage Data Protector
5.1. Configure Restore Area Management
A restore area is a location, which you designate to hold a backup copy of a post
office. GroupWise client users can access the restore area to retrieve mailbox
items that are stored in this area. When users access their restore area,
GroupWise compares the user databases with those found in the restore area and
only shows users the differences between the two. Depending on the system needs,
you can create one or more restore areas and assign post offices to use a desired
restore area. However, you must remember that you must provide users with
adequate disk space.
Following is the procedure to create a restore area and assign a post office:
1. In ConsoleOne, select Tools > GroupWise System Operations > Restore Area
Management.
2. To create a restore area, select Create. The following window will be
displayed:
3. On the Identification tab, specify a unique name for the new restore area.
4. Enter a description.
