Backup and restore of GroupWise
HP OpenView Storage Data Protector
A request is sent to the POA to place a time stamp on the post office or user
database.
5. To test this, run GWTMSTMP /PH-volume:\PO directory. When the POA
completes the task, the time stamp will match the time on the server.
6. Installation of Data Protector Agents
6.1. HP - INET
HPINET.NLM checks if GroupWise TSA Agent is loaded. If GWTSA.NLM is
loaded, it shows GroupWise System mount point in Data Protector GUI.
Note:
Since GWTSA.NLM uses cluster node (not virtual server) TSA Agent, GroupWise
System mount point is visible on cluster node NOT virtual server.
Example:
Pool RATCLPOOL with GWDOM, GWPOA and DATEN volumes on NetWare 6.5
cluster CLUSNW65 with virtual server name CLUSNW65_RATCLPOOL_SERVER
contains GroupWise Domain on volume GWDOM and Post Offices on GWPOA
volume.
If Pool RATCLPOOL is active on cluster node CLUSNW65_02 (with DNS name
tuna.hermes.si), GroupWise TSA Agent is CLUSNW65_02.GroupWise System
and it is visible in tuna.hermes.si (CLUSNW65_02) Data Protector client, not in
clusnw65_ratclpool_server Data Protector client.
NOTE:
Since current version of GWTSA.NLM not support “virtual server” TSA Agent i.e.
CLUSNW65_RATCLPOOL_SERVER.GroupWise system it is not visible from
clusnw65_ratclpool_server
