The minimum OS/390 level for a director or switch without the control unit
port (CUP) feature is version 2.6, plus service listed in PSP bucket upgrade
2032, device subset 2032OS390G5+. The minimum OS/390 level for a
director or switch with the CUP feature is version 2.1, plus service listed in
the preceding PSP bucket for that function.
■ A host-attached Hardware Management Console. The console runs the
Hardware Management Console application (HWMCA) and is the operations
and management PC platform for S/390 servers.
