7. When the installation is finished, delete the file HP Insight Control Storage Module
for vCenter.exe from the Windows /Temp directory listed in the %TEMP% Windows
system variable.
For example, if Windows variable %TEMP% is C:\Documents and Settings\
Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\1, then the file to delete can be found in C:\
Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp.
NOTE: Remove the file only after successfully upgrading the Storage Module for vCenter.
• P9500 disk arrays are supported only with the default security option Command Device
Authentication Security Disabled.
• Snapshot and remote replication information is not reported for MSA2000 G2 and P2000 G3
MSA arrays.
• Provisioning on P2000 SAS arrays is supported on ESXi 5.0 and ESX 4.1 only.
• Provisioning on P2000 FC arrays is supported on ESX 4.x and ESXi 5.0 only.
• When you use the storage provisioning features with P6000 EVA arrays, new datastores and
virtual machines cannot be created on thin-provisioned devices. You can clone an existing virtual
machine that resides on a thin-provisioned device, but the clone will be on a thick-provisioned
device.
