4. Click Next to continue.
The License Agreement dialog box opens.
5. Review the license agreement and select I accept the terms of the License Agreement. Click
Next.
The Choose Install Set dialog box opens.
6. Select the Typical or Custom installation option, and then click Next.
• Select Typical if you want to use the default values for Storage Module for vCenter data
import, ports, and the installation location.
The default values are as follows:
◦ Data import: If a Storage Module for vCenter version 6.x or later export.si file
exists on the server, in the default 6.x file location, the exported data is imported
automatically during installation.
◦ Ports: Table 5 (page 12) lists the ports used by Insight Control for vCenter:

The default installation directory depends on the operating system:

for vCenter

• Select Custom if you want to choose the values for Storage Module for vCenter data
import, ports, and the installation location.
The Choose Server and/or Storage component dialog box opens.
7. Select the components to install:
• Server and Storage—Installs the core module, the Server Module for vCenter, and the
Storage Module for vCenter
• Server—Installs the core module and the Server Module for vCenter, which adds HP
ProLiant and HP BladeSystem hardware monitoring into the vCenter Server console
• Storage—Installs the core module and the Storage Module for vCenter, which enables
monitoring of the HP storage infrastructure from the vCenter Server console
