6 Using HP OneView Virtual Connect Management Pack
The HP OneView Virtual Connect Management Pack enables the management of HP Virtual
Connect's physical and logical components being managed by the appliance.
This management pack has the following features:
• Identifies, groups, and displays Virtual Connect modules, uplink ports, networks and server
profiles being managed by HP OneView in the management console.
• Monitors and displays the state of Virtual Connect's physical (modules and uplink ports) and
logical (networks and server profile) components.
• Identifies, translates, and displays Virtual Connect hardware events written to the Windows
Event Log by the HP OneView Event Manager as Operations Manager alerts.
• Provides links to HP OneView web console for hardware resource management and advanced
administration from Operations Manager.
Classes
The structure of management pack classes is defined to seamlessly provide operations with HP
OneView Management Pack for System Center. The HP Virtual Connect Management Pack defines
the classes in the following table.
