Active Alert
The Active Alert view provides a listing of alerts for the managed enclosures in the Operations
Manager database. The Alert details panel shows new knowledge base text under the Knowledge
section.
The Active Alerts view displays active alerts associated with HP OneView Enclosure classes. To
display details for an alert, select the Enclosure alert from the Active Alerts pane. The Alert Details
pane displays HP Knowledge Base text with the originated Windows NT Event message in the
Alert Description. Event processing rules included with the HP OneView Enclosure Management
Pack identify and display HP Enclosure events received in the Windows Event Log as Operations
Manager alerts. These events are located in the HP OneView Management Event Log and are
generated by the HP OneView Event Manager Service.
The following information appears in the Alert Details pane:
• Alert name
• Alert source
• Path
• Alert rule name
• Created time
• Alert description
• Knowledge
• Resolution (with links to console tasks)
