4 Using HP OneView Management Pack
This chapter describes the various tasks performed using the HP OneView Management Pack.
Before using the management pack, ensure the HP OneView Management Pack has been properly
installed and configured. For more information on installing the HP OneView Management Pack
v2.x, see “Installing the HP OneView Management Pack” (page 11). Also, ensure that all other
prerequisites and requirements described in the “Support matrix” (page 9) are met.
Classes
The following key classes are required for optimal HP OneView appliance management functionality:
HP OneView ApplianceInfo
HP OneView Appliance
HP Health Collection
HP OneView Health Component
HP OneView ApplianceInfo class
The HP OneView ApplianceInfo Class defines the credentials of a managed HP OneView appliance
such as IP address, login user name, and password. It includes properties used for the following
classes:
