Getting MAC Addresses for Ignite-UX
The EFI command lanaddress can be used to list the MAC addresses of every network interface
in a partition:
Shell> lanaddress
LAN Address Information
LAN Address Path
----------------- ----------------------------------------
M 001 Mac(002655A9F352) PcieRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/MAC(002655A9F352,0x0)
002 Mac(002655A9F356) PcieRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x1)/MAC(002655A9F356,0x0)
M 003 Mac(002655A9F35A) PcieRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/MAC(002655A9F35A,0x0)
004 Mac(002655A9F35E) PcieRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x1)/MAC(002655A9F35E,0x0)
NOTE: The first four addresses, each of which have a path of the form
PcieRoot()/Pci()/Pci()/MAC() are LAN on Motherboard modules directly on a blade.
Task Summaries for Rebooting and Resetting Partitions
Table 6-1 describes the main nPartition boot and reset tasks and provides brief summaries and
references for detailed procedures.
You can perform the nPartition boot tasks in Table 6-1 “nPartition Boot and Reset Task
Summaries” using either the OA CLI or the OA GUI.
