HP Network Optimizer SDN Application - Microsoft Lync 1.0 Administrator Guide
License is over 90 percent limit: Net Optimizer - Lync
NOTE: In this case, Net Optimizer - Lync continues to apply QoS polices to new Lync calls.
• Grace users—Net Optimizer - Lync provides a fixed grace allowance 20% of licensed users.
The number of grace users is calculated as follows:
Number of grace users = Number of licensed users × (1+ 20%)
When the number of concurrent users in active sessions exceeds the license limit of 120% of
licensed users, Net Optimizer - Lync stops applying QoS policies to Lync calls and generates
the following error message on the Event Logs page:
License is over grace limit: Net Optimizer - Lync
For more information about the Net Optimizer - Lync license, see “Licensing.”
Active Sessions/Users In Time chart
The Active Sessions/Users In Time chart, as shown in Figure 6, displays the quantity trend of active
sessions and users in the latest two day period.
The y-axis indicates the numbers of sessions or users, and the x-axis indicates the data collection
time. The value of each sampling point is calculated based on the Lync data collected in the time
interval from the previous sampling point to the current one. For example, the value of sampling
point at 2014–03–05 19:29:25 in the active sessions trend line (Blue) is 7490, which means
there are a total of 7490 active Lync sessions that occurred during the time interval from
2014–03–05 13:29:25 to 2014–03–05 19:29:25.
