“Neoview SQL Database”
(page 12).
• Neoview SQL enhancements that include:
— Persistent sample tables (UPDATE STATISTICS statement)
— A new feature that allows a Neoview installation to replicate a table or an
entire schema from one Neoview system to another
— New information regarding the DISK POOL clause in the CREATE TABLE
statement for Neoview systems having 2, 3, and 4 logical disk volumes per
CPU
“Neoview Security ” (page 13).• Security enhancements that include:
— Optional integration with an external directory server using LDAP protocol
(openLDAP or Microsoft Active Directory)
— Multiple roles per database user, and the ability to select a role when logging
on to a Neoview client
— A new Neoview role (ROLE.SECMGR) for security administration
— User and role management functions in NCI and HPDM for remotely and
locally authenticated database users and platform users
