Neoview Workload Management Services Guide (R2.5)
Description or ActionAttribute or FieldGroup Box
Select one or more query types that will have their statistics aggregated:
• INSERT (unique or non-unique)
• UPDATE (unique or non-unique)
• DELETE (unique or non-unique)
• SELECT (unique)
Click Check all to select all query types.
Unique queries access only one row of data. Non-unique queries access
multiple rows of data.
For more information, see “Query Statistics Aggregation” (page 27).
TypeAggregate
Frequency, in minutes, at which the NDCS server updates the WMS process
with query statistics after aggregation has started. WMS makes those query
statistics available for real-time monitoring in the Neoview Performance
Analyzer (or the Neoview Query Viewer). The default is 1 minute.
Enter a value from 1 to 5 minutes. The value must be less than or equal to
the Repository Interval.
WMS Interval
Frequency, in minutes, at which the aggregated statistics are written to the
Repository. The default is 1 minute.
Enter a value from 1 to 5 minutes.
Repository Interval
Expected execution time of the query, in minutes. If the query's execution
time exceeds this interval, its statistics are written to the Repository without
being aggregated. If the query's execution time is less than or equal to this
interval, its statistics are aggregated. This threshold applies to each execution
of the query. The default is 1 minute.
Enter a value from 1 to 5 minutes.
Execute Interval
For connection rules, the operator is always AND, meaning that all connection
attribute expressions must evaluate to true for the connection rule to be
considered true.
LogicalExpression
Select the name of the connection attribute:
• SESSION (session name)
• APPL (application name)
• LOGIN (client login role name)
• DSN (data source name)
For more information, see “Connection Attribute Expressions” (page 72).
