Start the service

NOTE: In the Services Summary pane, you can select more than one stopped service

to start.

3. Click [OK] to acknowledge that the service was started.

Releasing a service changes the state of the service from STOPPED to ACTIVE or HOLD,

depending on the active period of the service. When the service is started, it can accept new

queries if it is in the ACTIVE state.

NOTE: You can also perform this task using the START SERVICE command. For more

information, see the “START SERVICE Command” (page 226).
