Neoview Workload Management Services Guide (R2.5)
Understand the Query Details
The tables in the next sections describe the information that is displayed for the query in each
group box of the Monitoring Query window in the Neoview Performance Analyzer (or the
Neoview Query Viewer). (To open the Monitoring Query window, see “Display the Query
Details” (page 127).)
Time-Based Metrics
This table describes the time-based metrics for the query:
DescriptionName
Unique identifier to indicate when the query entered the Neoview systemEntry Id
Time when the query was submitted into the Neoview system. The display format
is mm/dd/yyyy (for month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for hours, minutes, and
seconds).
Start Time
Time when the query finished executing. While the query is still executing, this field
is blank. When the query finishes executing, the display format is mm/dd/yyyy (for
month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for hours, minutes, and seconds).
End Time
Amount of time that the query ran or is running. For running queries, this is the time
since the start of the query execution until the current time. For completed queries,
this is the difference between the Execution Start Time and Execution End Time. The
display format is hh:mm:ss for hours, minutes, and seconds.
Elapsed Time
Amount of time the query waited before it started executing (that is, the time from
entry into the system to the time when the query actually starts to execute). The
display format is hh:mm:ss for hours, minutes, and seconds.
Wait Time
Time when the query compilation started (or when PREPARE started for the query).
The display format is mm/dd/yyyy (for month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for
hours, minutes, and seconds).
Compilation Start Time
Time when the query compilation ended (or when PREPARE ended for the query).
The display format is mm/dd/yyyy (for month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for
hours, minutes, and seconds).
Compilation End Time
Time when the query started executing. The display format is mm/dd/yyyy (for month,
day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for hours, minutes, and seconds).
Execution Start Time
Time when the query finished executing. While the query is still executing, this field
is blank. When the query finishes executing, the display format is mm/dd/yyyy (for
month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for hours, minutes, and seconds).
Execution End Time
Amount of time (in microseconds) used by Neoview SQL to execute the queryQuery Elapsed Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time used by the query, which is the sum of the
Sql Cpu Time, Disk Process BusyTime, Open Time, and Process Create Time. The
display format is hh:mm:ss for hours, minutes, and seconds.
Total Processor Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time used by the query in the previous refresh
interval. The display format is hh:mm:ss for hours, minutes, and seconds.
Last Interval Processor Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time, in microseconds, used by the query. This
information is the same as the Total Processor Time but uses a different display
format.
Total Processor Time
Microseconds
Time when the query information was last updated in WMS. The display format is
mm/dd/yyyy (for month, day, and year) and hh:mm:ss (for hours, minutes, and
seconds).
Last Updated
Amount of time the query was in the holding or suspended state. The display format
is hh:mm:ss for hours, minutes, and seconds.
