Changing Your Own Password
If you are a platform user, you can change your password with the NCI ALTER PASSWORD
command or, in HPDM, by selecting a target system and clicking the Change Password button
on the right panel. If your password is about to expire, or if it has expired but is within a grace
period specified by the security policy, you can also change it when logging on to either NCI or
HPDM.You must be logged on with the user name for which you are changing the password.
If your old password has expired and the security policy does not define a grace period for
platform-user passwords, you can no longer change your own password, but a user in the role
