Setting CLASSPATH
Before running JDBC applications, ensure the CLASSPATH environment variable includes the
hpt4jdbc.jar file and installation directory. The hpt4jdbc.jar file is located in the lib
directory where you installed the product.
Verifying the Type 4 Driver
To verify the version of the Type 4 driver, use the command:
java -jar hpt4jdbc.jar
This command displays output similar to:
Version procedure: T1249_N24(R2.0)_26JAN07_HP_JDBCT4_2007_02_02
To run the installation check program, use the command:
java hpt4jdbcSanityCheck
