Use a percent sign (%) to indicate zero or more characters of any type. For example, %art% matches

Considerations
You must enter the command on one line. The command does not require an SQL terminator.
You can execute this command only in SQL mode.
If you do not specify a wild-card pattern in a SHOW SYNONYMS command, NCI displays
all the synonyms that exist in the current schema.
If you specify a wild-card pattern in a SHOW SYNONYMS command, NCI displays only
the synonym names that match the wild-card pattern.
If the SET TIMING command is set to ON, the elapsed time information is displayed.
Examples
This command shows all the synonyms in the current schema, SALES:
