Neoview Client and Platform Compatibility Reference (R2.5)

Supported Release Version Updates (RVUs)
This reference supports HP Neoview Release 2.5-P and HP Neoview Release 2.5-N and all
subsequent Neoview RVUs until otherwise indicated in a replacement publication.
Release Version Identifier Naming Convention for Hardware Platforms
The HP Neoview data warehousing platform denotes the software version based on a release
version identifier, such as Release 2.4, Release 2.4 Service Pack 2, and Release 2.4-P Service Pack
2. The release identifier applies to software running on Neoview platform based Integrity rx2620
and Integrity rx2660 servers, and Neoview BladeSystems. Where there is a need to distinguish
between the hardware platform for a given release version, a -N at the end of a release version
identifier specifies Neoview platform based Integrity rx2620 and Integrity rx2660 servers, and a
-P at the end of a release version identifier specifies Neoview BladeSystems. For more information,

Release 2.5
Prior to Neoview Release 2.5, the client product version and Neoview release compatibility
information was documented in the individual client product READMEs. Beginning with Neoview
Release 2.5, this table provides the client product version and Neoview release compatibility
information for the client products that are supported on Neoview Release 2.5. The check marks
under a client product version column indicate the Neoview releases that are compatible with
that version of the client product. To better view the table, increase the page magnification.
NOTE: These client products are not supported on Neoview Release 2.5:

• HP Neoview Reports Client
• HP Neoview Management Dashboard Client
