About This Document
This document describes how to use the HP Neoview ADO.NET Provider to access HP Neoview
SQL databases on the HP Neoview Data Warehousing Platform for Business Intelligence.
Installation instructions are included in README for the HP Neoview ADO.NET Provider.
Supported Release Version Updates (RVUs)
This manual supports Neoview Release 2.5 and all subsequent releases, until otherwise indicated
in a replacement publication.
Intended Audience
This Neoview ADO.NET Provider Manual is for database administrators or others who want to
access SQL databases on the Neoview platform with the ADO.NET provider. In addition to an
understanding of the ADO.NET specification, it is helpful to have some knowledge of:
• SQL databases and basic connectivity.
• The Microsoft .NET Framework.
