Checking Version Compatibility Before installing the client product, check the compatibility of the client with the Neoview platform: Product Version Client Product Name Compatible releases of the Neoview platform Release 2.3 Update 1 Neoview System Monitor Neoview Release 2.3 Service Pack 3 and later Release 2.3 Neoview System Monitor Neoview Release 2.
Installation Package Neoview System Monitor client software is distributed as a zip archive (NeoSysMon_Installer_n.n.n.zip, where n.n.n is the release product version) that is downloadable from the HP Software Depot. By default, the installer places program files in this location: C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Neoview System Monitor\ However, you can specify a different location, if necessary, during installation.
6. Click Next and follow the onscreen menus to complete the installation. Note these considerations: • By default, the installer places Neoview System Monitor program files in this location: C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Neoview System Monitor\ To select a different installation folder, click Browse when prompted. • To check the available disk space on all local drives before confirming the installation folder, click Disk Cost. The installer takes a few moments to gather the disk space information.
• In the installation folder that you specify, the installer places a shortcut file named Neoview System Monitor that you can use to start or customize startup of the client application. The Neoview System Monitor Quick Start describes how to customize startup.
