README for HP Neoview Release 2.4

Introduction
This README describes Release 2.4 of the HP Neoview Data Warehousing Platform for Business
Intelligence. Your HP representative can help you determine the release level of software currently
installed on your Neoview platform.
In general, the Neoview platform supports clients on Windows XP Service Pack 2 and later
releases of Windows XP. Windows Vista is supported on some, but not all, clients. For information
about Windows Vista support, see the README for each client product.
Neoview System Time Changes
The system time on your Neoview platform is initially set when HP Services installs the platform.
In the future, if the Daylight Savings Time rules for your location change, you must notify your
local HP Account Support Manager (ASM). When the ASM knows about the change, HP will
start the process to implement the time changes on your platform.
Where to Download Client Software
Software drivers, client software, and executables can be downloaded from the HP Software
Depot at:
www.software.hp.com
To locate the Neoview drivers or other client software, either:
• Type Neoview in the search field, and press Enter.
• In the Featured Products section of the same Web page, click the HP Neoview Platform
link.
To use drivers introduced in Release 2.4 or to take advantage of new features and fixes, you must
download and install the latest driver versions. The Software Depot pages include a brief
description of each driver, information about workstation hardware and software requirements,
and installation instructions.
