README for HP Neoview Release 2.4 Service Pack 1
[WMS]Programming exception: ComExecDirect, Service service-name is
outside the active time
• The STATUS QUERIES ALL STATS and STATUS QUERY <query-id> STATS commands
now display an “SQL_” prefix before these statement types in the STATEMENT_TYPE
column:
— SQL_OTHER
— SQL_UNKNOWN
— SQL_SELECT_UNIQUE
— SQL_SELECT_NON_UNIQUE
— SQL_INSERT_UNIQUE
— SQL_INSERT_NON_UNIQUE
— SQL_UPDATE_UNIQUE
— SQL_UPDATE_NON_UNIQUE
— SQL_DELETE_UNIQUE
— SQL_DELETE_NON_UNIQUE
— SQL_CONTROL
— SQL_SET_TRANSACTION
— SQL_SET_CATALOG
— SQL_SET_SCHEMA
— SQL_CALL_NO_RESULT_SETS
— SQL_CALL_WITH_RESULT_SETS
— SQL_SP_RESULT_SET
• There are two new STATEMENT_TYPE columns:
— SQL_CAT_UTIL (for SQL utilities such as PURGEDATA)
— SQL_EXE_UTIL (for SQL utilities such as MAINTAIN and REORG)
• The STATUS QUERIES ALL STATS and STATUS QUERY <query-id> STATS commands
now return three new query runtime statistics for Automatic Query Retry (AQR):
DescriptionColumn Name
The error code that triggered the Automatic Query Retry (AQR) for the recent
retry
LAST_ERROR_BEFORE_AQR
Number of retries that occurred for this query until nowAQR_NUM_RETRIES
The delay in seconds that the SQL engine waited before it initiated AQRDELAY_BEFORE_AQR
• When using the ALTER WMS CONN command to associate a connection rule with a service,
you no longer need to specify associations for the predefined “HPS_” rules and services to
prevent overwriting those associations.
• For consistency among the ADD and ALTER RULE commands, the SQL_CMD
"sql-string" option replaces the EXEC "sql-string" option in the ADD RULE COMP
and ALTER RULE COMP commands.
• A new option, NO-ACTION, is available in the ALTER RULE COMP, CONN, and EXEC
commands. Use the NO-ACTION option to remove an action from a rule.
• In an ADD RULE COMP command, the EST_TOTAL_MEMORY now represents the estimated
memory for the query rather than the estimated total memory per CPU.
• When adding a service or rule, you cannot specify a name for a service or rule that contains
spaces.
• The STATUS WMS command has additional columns for System Offender in HPDM, and
those columns are visible to any user who runs the STATUS WMS command. See Table 3
(page 16).
