Schedule Maintain Wizard
You can perform a variety of maintenance tasks on tables and materialized views, such as
scheduling update statistics or defragment operations, with the Schedule Maintain wizard. For
information on enabling or disabling Reorganize or Update Statistics on a table, see “Enabling
or Disabling Reorganize and Update Statistics on Tables” (page 60).
1. Start DB Admin and log on using any user ID allowed to maintain tables or materialized
views. The DBA role is intended for this task.
2. Click the Database tab and then and navigate to the schema and table that you want to
maintain.
3. Right-click the table name or materialized view name and select Maintain to start the
Schedule Maintain wizard. For a table, DB Admin displays this screen:
