1.1.1 Installation Package

The Neoview Transporter Streamlined Access Interface (SAI) API software

package is available as a zipped tar file (nvt_sai_v.v.v.tar.gz) for the

HP-UX Itanium platform. The v.v.v string is the version number (for

example, 2.3.0).

1.1.2 Installation Instructions

1.1.2.1 Installing or Reinstalling the Neoview SAI API

1. Create a temporary directory.

2. Download the software from the HP download site: www.software.hp.com.

3. Move the distribution file to the directory where the software is to

be installed. The recommended location for installation is either /usr

or /opt.

4. Expand the installation and product files: gunzip nvt_sai_v.v.v.tar.gz

5. Extract the installation and product files. This creates a directory
