5. Click Download Directly. This action downloads the executable file corresponding to the

product version you selected:

• NVMD_Client_Setup_2.3.x.exe, for Release 2.3 of the Dashboard Client (x

represents an update number. For example, NVMD_Client_Setup_2.3.1.exe

corresponds to Release 2.3 Update 1.)

NOTE: Once a new version of the Client becomes available, it supersedes all previous

versions for the base release. For example, version 2.3.1 supersedes version 2.3.0.

• NVMD_Client_Setup_v22.exe, for Release 2.2 of the Dashboard Client

• NVMD_Client_Setup_v21.exe, for Release 2.1 of the Dashboard Client

• NVMD_Client_Setup_v20.exe, for Release 2.0 of the Dashboard Client

6. If you've chosen to download Release 2.2 or an earlier version of the Client, you must also

download the installation instructions appropriate to the Client version:

• NVMD_Client_Installation_v22.doc, for Release 2.2 of the Dashboard Client

• NVMD_Client_Installation_v21.doc, for Release 2.1 of the Dashboard Client

• NVMD_Client_Installation_v20.doc, for Release 2.0 of the Dashboard Client

Installation Package

The HP Neoview Management Dashboard Client is installed by using a downloadable InstallShield

wizard, NVMD_Client_Setup_2.3.x.exe, where x represents an update number.

A new version of the Neoview Management Dashboard Client is installed in the following

directories unless you specify different directories during installation:

• C:\Program Files\Neoview Management Dashboard\

• C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Csg

• C:\Program Files\Tandem\Csg

• C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\IconServ

• C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Oem

• C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Oil
