1.1 The Installation Package

The Neoview Command Interface (NCI) is available as a downloadable

installer file, hpnciInstaller.jar.

The location of the installer jar file (hpnciInstaller.jar) has changed.

The file now resides within a ZIP file, hpnci_<v.v[v].v>.zip.

Files contained in the installer file (by default, these files are

installed in the /lib directory):

o hpnci.jar

installed in the /bin directory):

o hpnci.cmd

o hpnci.sh

o hpnci.pl

1.5 Getting the Version of NCI To display the version of the downloaded installer file: 1. Change to the directory where you downloaded the hpnciInstaller.jar file: cd 2. Enter this command to return version information: java -jar hpnciInstaller.jar v The command displays this version information: T0774_N26_AAD(R2.3)__HP_NCI___

GOTO Command All commands executed after a GOTO statement are ignored until the specified label is set. The GOTO command cannot currently jump back in the command history; it is a forward-only command. To set a label, use the LABEL command. Syntax: GOTO { Label } Label is a string of characters without quotes and spaces, or a quoted string. This command has to be entered on a single line.
