Grounding
A safety ground/protective earth conductor is required for each AC service entrance to the
segment and combination cabinets. This ground must comply with local codes and any other
applicable regulations.
Branch Circuits and Circuit Breakers
Each of the PDUs requires a separate branch circuit of these ratings:
AmpsVoltsRegion
24208North America and Japan
40200 - 240North America and Japan
16380 - 415International
32200 - 240International
CAUTION: Be sure the hardware configuration and resultant power loads of each cabinet within
the system do not exceed the capacity of the branch circuit according to applicable electrical
codes and regulations.
Cabinet Power Loads
In normal operation, the AC power is split equally between the two PDUs in a cabinet. However,
if one of the two AC power feeds fails, the remaining AC power feed and PDU must carry the
power for all components in that cabinet.
