About This Document
This manual describes the Dashboard Client, which provides a network-wide system monitoring,
statistics collection, and presentation infrastructure for Neoview platforms.
You can use the Dashboard Client to monitor the performance and availability of CPU, Disk,
ProcessBusy, Query, QueryRTS, Table, and TMF entities.
Supported Release Version Updates (RVUs)
This manual supports N02.03 and all subsequent N-series RVUs until otherwise indicated in a
replacement publication.
Intended Audience
This manual is written for database administrators who use the Dashboard Client. It is not
intended to provide instructions on how to configure system, database, or Dashboard attributes
that would affect Dashboard presentation or behavior.
New and Changed Information in This Edition
This edition incorporates the following new information:
• Description of the QueryRTS entity, which provides statistics collected while a query is
running.
• Description of the Table entity, which provides information about columns that have obsolete
or missing statistics.
• Change in the default background color for entity screens.
• Clarification of data available in Show Related reports.
• Discussion of default performance and availability objectives for entities on Neoview
platforms.
