I. Summary of Features

======================

HP Neoview Script provides the following new features:

1. Support for JRE 1.5.

2. Support for Stored Procedures in Java (SPJ).

3. New interface commands (LOCALHOST, ONLINEDBDUMP,

RESET LASTERROR, SHOW LASTERROR, and SHOW PROCEDURES).

4. New launch parameter (-version) for command line option.

5. Enhancements to existing interface commands (SET MARKUP

and VERSION).

6. Change in sqlterminator for CREATE TRIGGER statement.

7. Retries for login. Maximum of three retries available before

session terminates.

8. The Welcome banner is now displayed first, prior to login prompts.

II. The Installation Package

The Neoview Script tool is available as a downloadable

installer file, hpnvsInstaller_v22.jar.

6. Dearchive the hpt4jdbc_v22.tar file using the tar command (or the WinZip Extract tool): tar -xvf hpt4jdbc_v22.tar 7.
