NOTE: The NDCS release version and Neoview platform release version are always the same.
Ensure that you install the driver version that is compatible with the Neoview platform version.

If a compatible version is not installed, you can obtain the software to download from the HP
Software Depot at: www.software.hp.com (search for “Neoview”).
Considerations for HP Neoview ODBC Clients Connecting to Mixed-Version Neoview
Platforms
On the client platform, you can install and run a Release 2.2 HP Neoview ODBC driver
concurrently with a Release 2.1 (or earlier) HP Neoview ODBC driver with the following
restrictions:
• You must create different client data sources to connect to different versions of NDCS servers.
• Once an application connects to a driver of a particular version, the application must always
connect to a driver of that version, even if the application disconnects. To change to a driver
of a different version, the application must exit and be restarted.
Version Mismatch Error Message
If an HP Neoview ODBC client attempts to connect to an invalid NDCS version, the driver returns
an error.

Installing the HP Neoview ODBC Driver for Windows
The HP Neoview ODBC driver software is available as a downloadable distribution file,
HPODBC_vnn.exe (nn represents the version number; for example, HPODBC_v22). By default,
a new version of the ODBC driver is installed in the C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP
ODBC 2.0 directory unless you specify a different directory during installation.
The ODBC client installation file installs or links to multiple client components:
