Neoview Messages Manual (R2.2)

About This Document
HP Neoview database is the HP relational database management system based on ANSI SQL-92.
It uses the industry standard Structured Query Language (SQL) to define and manipulate data.
This manual describes messages produced by the HP Neoview data warehousing platform and
its associated subsystems.
Supported Releases
This manual supports Neoview Release 2.2 and subsequent Neoview releases until otherwise
indicated in a replacement publication.
Audience
This manual was written for Neoview database administrators and programmers who use the
Neoview database software conversational or programmatic interface.
Readers of this manual should know:
The fundamentals of the Neoview database software
The fundamentals of the HP Neoview platform
ODBC and JDBC Messages
ODBC messages are contained in the Neoview ODBC Drivers Manual.
JDBC messages are contained in the Neoview JDBC Type 4 Driver Programmer's Reference.
New and Changed Information
This manual was reformatted.
Changed information includes new and changed messages. Also, the previous “UPDATE
STATISTICS and Executor Sort Messages (9200 Through 10049)” chapter was split and messages
were added to the executor range. The chapters now are:
