Neoview Messages Manual (R2.2)

Cause Failed to send message to the gelserver on the Neoview platform. Possibly:
• The gelserver process on the Neoview platform has already terminated.
• Problems occurred in the network between the Neoview platform and the Linux system.
Recovery Contact the GMCSC for analysis of accompanying error and warning messages.
ODBC/MX FastPath has been enabled.
Cause The gelserver is configured to use the FastPath interface for the HP ODBC driver.
Recovery This is an informational message only. No corrective action is needed.
Received unknown request type. Request type = request-type.
request-type
is the value received from the peer gelserver process running on the
Neoview platform.
Cause The gelserver received an invalid value for the request type and therefore could not
process the request.
Recovery This is an internal software error. Contact the GMCSC to check the Neoview
gelserver task instance log files and analyze the accompanying error and warning messages.
