TCP/IP Reader, Extract Task-Specific Messages
Invalid port for connection.
Cause An invalid (negative) port number was supplied by the gelserver on the Neoview
platform.
Recovery This is an internal error. Retry the load task. If the problem persists, contact the
GMCSC.
Invalid connection parameters.
Cause Invalid connection parameters were supplied by the gelserver on the Neoview
platform.
Recovery This is an internal error. Retry the load task. If the problem persists, contact the
GMCSC.
Invalid IP address for connection. Error number = error.
error is the value of the errno variable returned by TCP/IP.
Cause An invalid IP address was supplied by the gelserver on the Neoview platform.
Recovery This is an internal error. Retry the load task. If the problem persists, contact the
GMCSC.
Socket creation failure. Error number = error.
error is the value of the errno variable returned by TCP/IP.
Cause Failed to create a TCP/IP socket. Possibly problems occurred in TCP/IP on the Linux
system.
Recovery Contact the GMCSC for analysis of accompanying error and warning messages.
Connection to peer gelserver failed. Check if peer gelserver has been
started. Error number = error.
error is the value of the errno variable returned by TCP/IP.
Cause Failed to connect to a gelserver on the Neoview platform. Possibly:
• The gelserver process on the Neoview platform terminated before accepting the connection.
• Problems occurred in the network between the Neoview platform and the Linux system.
Recovery Contact the GMCSC for analysis of accompanying error and warning messages.
Message could not be sent to the peer gelserver. Error number = error.
error is the value of the errno variable returned by TCP/IP.
Cause Failed to send a message to a gelserver on the Neoview platform. Possibly:
• The gelserver process on the Neoview platform has already terminated.
• Problems occurred in the network between the Neoview platform and the Linux system.
Recovery Contact the GMCSC for analysis of accompanying error and warning messages.
Failure in sending message to the peer gelserver. Error number = error.
error is the value of the errno variable returned by TCP/IP.
Cause Failed to send all the data to the gelserver on the Neoview platform. Possibly problems
occurred in TCP/IP on the Linux system.
Recovery Contact the GMCSC for analysis of accompanying error and warning messages.
