Neoview Management Dashboard Client Guide for Database Administrators (R2.2)

Click Yes to accept the Manage action on a single selected query or for one query at a
time.
Click Yes to All to accept the Manage action on all selected queries.
6. The Login dialog box appears when you issue the first command of the session. The title
bar identifies the Neoview platform host to which you are connecting.
a. Enter your Neoview platform login user name and password.
b. Either:
Select Cancel to dismiss the dialog and cancel the Manage action.
Select Login to proceed with the Manage action and start the CSG process.
When you select Login, the CSG process starts and thereafter automatically configures
itself whenever you invoke the Command and Control GUI.
NOTE: If the Login operation fails, CSG cannot establish a session with the Neoview
platform and send the query command. Repeat the procedure from Step 2 and log in
with a valid user name and password.
If you subsequently configure the Dashboard CSG to monitor a different Neoview
platform host, the Command and Control CSG is automatically reconfigured to match
the Dashboard settings for that host.
Using the Operations Status Window
The results of Command and Control Manage actions are displayed in the grid columns of the
Operations Status window shown in Figure 7-1. To display detailed results for an operation,
double-click it. If a query does not exist (for example, because its process is already stopped), an
error message appears.
