4. Plan space to reserve for Snapshots
Snapshots are associated with a specific file volume and must be created in the same volume group as that file
volume. Therefore you must allocate enough space in each volume group to include all file volumes and snapshots.
Snapshots are optional. You can add or resize a snapshot at a later time if there is enough free space available in
the volume group. Record your reserved space in the table below. (See “Snapshots” on page 7.)
