5. Verify the Array Configuration
To ensure that the storage array has been configured correctly, you must verify the array
settings.
1. Connect a laptop with terminal emulation software to the array.
Connect an RS232 null-modem to one of the serial ports on the array.

2. Use a terminal emulator to log in and confirm the array settings. Use the following settings:
— Bits per second: 9600
— Data bits: 8
— Parity: None
— Stop bits: 1
— Flow control: None
3. Press Enter until you see the command prompt. Then execute:
vfpmgr –os linux –c 1
vfpmgr –os linux –c 2
vfpmgr –t 1 –c 1
vfpmgr –t 1 -c 2
