The MPX200 supports Citrix XenServer 6.0 for online data migration. Follow these guidelines when
migrating LUNs presented to a Citrix XenServer:
• During migration, do not detach the virtual disk that is presented to a virtual machine running
the application.
• After migration activity is complete, and the virtual machine is ready for a downtime, first
detach the virtual disk, and then detach the storage repository (SR). These steps ensure that
the server has no access to the LUN.
• After the migration job is complete, present the destination LUN to the Citrix XenServer and
add it as a new SR (do not format this SR). Attach the destination LUN to the virtual machine
to present the LUN with the same name you created on the source array.
