The following table shows the features of Direct Printing.
Direct Printing
Location Mobile printing in or out of the office.
Printers Print directly to Bluetooth and infrared printers as well as shared and
networked printers. Also print directly to Wi-Fi enabled printers.
Processing Processing done on the Pocket PC
and complex documents may take
some time to print.
Print quality might not be as good as printing from a desktop
computer. For example, some embedded graphics might not print, or
you might see slight changes in the formatting on the printed page.
File printing The supported file formats are:
Plain text format (.txt)
Pocket Excel (.pxl)
Pocket Word documents (.psw, .rtf)
Notes documents (.pwi)
Image formats (.bmp, .jpg)
If WESTTEK’s ClearVue viewers are installed, you can also print:
Microsoft Office documents
(.doc, .ppt, .pps, .xls)
Adobe Acrobat documents (.pdf)
NOTE: Adobe Acrobat Reader is available to view and print Adobe
Acrobat format (*.pdf) documents. To download a copy, visit Adobe’s

E-mail printing E-mail attachments to be printed must first be downloaded to a Pocket
PC.
