recommends not to use the uni-directional pairs for Disaster Recovery.
So, one can configure Metrocluster or Continentalclusters only between
the arrays that are in a bi directional configuration within a N-1 or 1-N
Remote Copy setup.

HP Metrocluster 3PAR package will have impact if the HP 3PAR storage
system is upgraded to any of the following 3PAR OS versions:
· 2.3.1 MU5 Patch35 or later
· 3.1.1 MU3 Patch27 or later
· 3.1.2 MU3 Patch16 or later
Upon completion of upgrade, it is recommended to get the certificate file
or certificate exception file saved in the default location. HP Metrocluster
for 3PAR supports only the default location of the certificate or
certificate exception file.
It is recommended to follow respective HP 3PAR OS software upgrade
instructions guide to upgrade your storage system and CLI upgrade
The following 3PAR features are not supported with Metrocluster with
3PAR Remote Copy A.01.00:
1. Support for Synchronous Long Distance configuration
2. Support for Unidirectional Remote Copy configuration
3. 3PAR Remote Copy volume groups configured with
fail_wrt_on_err policy.
The following Metrocluster features are not supported with Metrocluster
with 3PAR Remote Copy A.01.00:
1. Easy Deployment of Metrocluster Packages using Serviceguard
Manager
2. cmdrprev command
3. Legacy packages
4. HP Integrity Virtual Machines 3.* and 4.*
