PHKL_35174 Partition ID, PCI EH, PCIe patch for HP-UX 11i v2 Integrity systems. Required
by VSE in order to discover and manage nPartitions or virtual partitions.
Requires reboot.
PHSS_33349 Linker + fdp cumulative patch for HP-UX 11i v2 Integrity systems. Corrects a
WBEM memory leak. Required by Virtualization Manager and Capacity Advisor.
Depends on PHSS_32213.
PHSS_32213 Aries cumulative patch for HP-UX 11i v2 Integrity systems. Required by
PHSS_33349. Requires reboot.
Licenses
The licensing model and the procedures for installing VSE Management Software licenses have
changed significantly since VSE Management Software version 3.x. For an explanation of the
current license model, see the “Activating Licenses” section of the VSE Management Software
Version 4.0 Getting Started Guide.
Additional Software Dependencies
The following are additional dependencies related to VSE Management Software.
• Instant Capacity Manager requires iCAP version 8.02 or later installed on the managed
systems.
• VSE supports having multiple database instances hosted by Microsoft SQL Server. Refer to
the Microsoft SQL Server documentation for instructions on how to set up a system to host
multiple SQL Server database instances.
