Changes to the Profile Viewer are not documented in the Capacity Advisor Help Reference.

New Capacity Advisor Utilization Resource Types
Not all of the new utilization resource types (network and disk I/O and power) are noted on
every screen help topic and procedure that corresponds to the user interface screen where they
occur.
To learn about fields associated with these new resource types, locate the following topics in the
help reference (either by scanning the left navigation bar under Capacity Advisor or by using
the help search engine or index):
• Editing Network and Disk I/O
• Power Settings
Capacity Advisor Error Message Changes
Changes in error messages seen in the Capacity Advisor user interface may not be reflected in
user documentation. When in doubt, the user interface provides the most correct information.
capcollect(1M) Manpage Error
The explanation in the “Return Value 1” section is for HP System Insight Manager versions (5.01
and 5.00.02) that are not supported by the current version of Capacity Advisor. Ignore this section.
Options not Documented in capcollect(1M) Manpage
The following options are not documented in the capcollect(1m) manpage:
• -i
Perform IPM calibration only, without collecting utilization data. Any systems specified on
the command line with this option should support Insight Power Manager.
• -f
Force IPM calibration.
• -z
Perform utilization collection only, without performing IPM calibration.

Some values given in the help are incorrect. Consult the HP Capacity Advisor Version 4.0 User's
