About Activity notifications
The Activity screen is displayed when you first log in. However, to navigate back to this screen
from other locations in the user interface, click the black menu bar at the top of the screen to view
the main menu.
This management software periodically checks the existing activity occurring in resources in your
environment, and posts alerts and other notifications to the Activity overview screen for you to
review. Notifications can be assigned to particular users when their attention is needed to plan
an action, complete an action, or solve a problem, and you can use the note feature to add
instructions or comments of interest to the assigned owner.
You can use the sort and filter functions in this area to refine the display of information, and the
Actions menu to remove or hide obsolete or uninteresting information.
Links within the details allow you to open specific resources to further investigate the state of each
resource.
Each notification is in either of these states:
• Active — The notice is included in the count summaries that are shown in the Activity overview
screen and in resource screens and resource status icons.
• Cleared — The notice has been hidden from view, but can be recovered for viewing in the
Activity panel. Cleared items are not included in count summaries.
Once a notice has been deleted, it is no longer available in the database and cannot be viewed
or recovered.
