HP Integrity Virtual Machines Manager Version 4.0 Getting Started Guide
Using the Delete Menu
The Delete menu allows you to delete a virtual machine or virtual switch. Figure 3-25 shows the
choices that might be available when you select the Delete menu. The choices are enabled
according to the view and tab. In Figure 3-25, the Virtual Machine... option is enabled and the
Virtual Switch... option is disabled. The Virtual Machine... option is enabled in the VM Properties
view or in any of the VM Host or VM Properties tabs that list virtual machines (such as in the
VM Host Virtual Machines tab, as shown in Figure 3-25); in a VM Host view, one or more virtual
machines must be selected. The Virtual Switch... option is enabled when you are in the Vswitch
Properties view or in any of the VM Host or VM Properties tabs that list virtual switches; one or
more virtual switches must be selected. From tabs that list and allow selection of multiple virtual
machines (for example, the VM Host Virtual Machines tab), you can simultaneously delete
multiple selected virtual machines. Likewise, from tabs that list multiple virtual switches (for
example, the VM Host Virtual Switches tab), you can delete multiple selected virtual switches.
