1 The Utilization Provider for Microsoft Windows is only installed to Integrity Windows managed systems from an HP-UX CMS. Data
collection on a Windows CMS is agentless for all Windows managed systems.
Agents and providers for OpenVMS managed systems
Insight Dynamics 6.1 supports using Virtualization Manager, Capacity Advisor, and Global Workload
Manager with OpenVMS 8.3-1H1 and 8.4 systems managed from a Microsoft Windows CMS. The following
agents and providers are required and are available for download from the HP web.
NOTE: The OpenVMS agents and providers are not bundled with Insight Dynamics and are not installed
on managed systems by the agent distributor. You must download and install these agents and providers
when using Insight Dynamics to manage OpenVMS systems from a Microsoft Microsoft Windows CMS.
• OpenVMS WBEM services and WBEM providers
Virtualization Manager and Capacity Advisor require installing HP WBEM Services and HP WBEM
Provider to collect data from OpenVMS systems. Supported versions of HP WBEM Services and HP
WBEM Provider:

Global Workload Manager requires installing OpenVMS gWLM agent 4.1 on OpenVMS 8.3-1H1
and 8.4 managed systems. The OpenVMS gWLM agent 4.1 kit and documentation can be downloaded
