Overview of
Insight D

Logical S
erver
s
HP Insight Dynamics
–
VSE
introduced the
logical server
concept,
an
abstraction that
simplifies and
unifies
the provisioning and
ongoing management
of servers.
This concept
provides a single
management paradigm for
physica
l
server blades and virtual machines
, allowing administrators to
provision
and control dispar
ate resources
with the same
management
tools.
The
logical server
concept is illustrated in Figure 1.
