Matrix recovery management supports EVA and P6000 family storage arrays with Continuous

Access Synchronous and Asynchronous Replication as follows:

• EVA 4x00

• EVA 6x00

• EVA 8x00

• P6300/P6500

• HP P6000 software, version 9.2/9.2.1, 9.3, 9.4, or 10.0 is required

• EVA 4x00/6x00/8x00 models and P6000 family supported by HP P6000 software versions

in the previous bullet item

iSCSI support

As noted in Table 27 (page 30), iSCSI is supported only as a virtual backing store (not a physical

server iSCSI boot or virtual machine directly accessed to raw iSCSI LUNs through RDM).

For security and performance purposes, HP recommends a dedicated network for iSCSI traffic.

HP recommends the following dedicated iSCSI LAN/VLANs for iSCSI implementations:

• HP ProCurve 6600 series (models with 10 GB option)

• HP ProCurve 8200zl series

• HP ProCurve 5400zl series

For security and reliability purposes, HP recommends separate iSCSI networks for iSCSI LAN traffic.
