Step 6: Configure the physical storage
Right-click the physical storage component and select Edit Server Group Configuration.
Click the Config tab.
The storage type is FC-SAN. Note that SCSI over IP (iSCSI) attached storage is not supported.
Select Specify desired attributes.
Leave the RAID level set to Any.
Leave Disk is bootable unselected.
The setting for Redundant SAN paths to disk depends on how you configured your logical server storage pool
entries. At least one matching storage pool entry is required for each service provisioned. Those entries might
or might not be fully configured with redundant paths.
In vCenter, the data store is given a unique name constructed as follows:
auto-<lsgid>-<index number>-<vmhostName>
where <lsgid> is LogicalServerGroup:<UUID>, <index number> is a non-negative number starting at 0,
and
<vmhostName> is the name of the VM host. For example:
